Terms of service
These terms explain what you get from Bidwatchly, how you pay, how to cancel, and what we are and are not responsible for. They are written in plain English for business customers.
1. Who we are
Bidwatchly is the trading name of Faisal Rehman, a sole trader, of Plaza No. 22, 1st Floor, DD Commercial, Bahria Town, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Email: faisal@bidwatchly.com. "We" and "us" means Bidwatchly. "You" means the business buying from us.
2. Who these terms are for
Our services are for businesses buying for their business. If you buy as a consumer, you also have the rights UK consumer law gives you, and nothing in these terms takes them away.
3. How you pay
- Card payments go through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy takes the payment, issues your receipt and invoice, and handles VAT or sales tax. Their buyer terms apply to the payment itself.
- We never see or store your card details.
- If you order through our order form instead, we send a payment link or a fixed quote first. Nothing is charged until you agree the price.
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Any tax Lemon Squeezy must add is shown at checkout before you pay.
4. The daily digest (£19 a month)
- What you get. A morning email listing open UK and Irish public tenders for the trade and regions you choose in your account. Notices come from official sources: Find a Tender, Contracts Finder, Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales and TED.
- Renewal. The subscription renews every month until you cancel.
- Cancelling. Cancel at any time from "Manage billing" on your account page. You keep the digest until the end of the month you have paid for.
- Completeness. We cannot list every opportunity. Some tenders are never publicly advertised, such as mini-competitions under frameworks, and source data can contain errors or change after we read it. Always check the official notice before you act.
- Use. The digest is for use inside your own business. Please do not resell it or publish it. The underlying notice data is public sector information under the Open Government Licence v3.0, and EU notices are © European Union (TED).
5. Go/no-go checks (£95 per tender)
- What you get. A one-page review of one public tender, checked against the official notice and the documents you send us. It sets out the key facts, deadlines, scoring and risks, and says plainly what it did and did not read.
- When. Within one working day of receiving the tender pack. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. If we cannot meet that, we tell you and you can cancel for a full refund.
- What it is not. It is not legal, financial or procurement advice, and it does not tell you that you will win. The decision to bid, and the bid itself, are yours.
6. Bid writing (quoted per tender)
- We read the tender pack and send a fixed written quote setting out the scope, price and delivery date before any work starts. If the quote and these terms differ, the quote wins.
- You are responsible for checking the bid, for the accuracy of everything it says about your business, and for signing and submitting it. We never submit a bid for you.
7. Your 14-day right to cancel
Consumers have a legal 14-day right to cancel contracts for digital services. We give business customers the same 14 days, on these terms:
- Digest. When you subscribe, you ask us to start sending the digest straight away. If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment, we refund that first payment in full.
- Go/no-go check. When you send us the tender details, you expressly ask us to start work straight away, and you accept that once the check has been delivered you can no longer cancel it for a refund. If you cancel before we deliver, we refund you in full.
- Bid writing. As set out in your written quote.
See the refund policy for how to ask.
8. No guarantee of contract wins
Public contracts are awarded by the buyer, using its own criteria. Nothing we provide guarantees that you will be shortlisted or win, or that a tender is right for you. Our work helps you decide; it does not decide for you.
9. Not legal advice
Our digests, checks, guides and drafts are information. They are not legal advice. On TUPE, pensions, contract terms or the Procurement Act 2023, take advice from a qualified adviser before you rely on it.
10. Our responsibility to you
- We provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
- We are not responsible for lost profits, lost contracts, lost bids or other indirect business losses, or for errors in source data published by buyers or portals.
- Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
11. Your information
How we use your details is explained in our privacy notice. The only cookie we set is explained on the cookies page.
12. Changes
We may change the service or these terms. For an active subscription, we give at least 30 days' notice by email of a price rise or any change that matters, and you can cancel before it takes effect. The version on this page applies to new orders.
13. Suspending access
We may suspend an account that shares or resells the digest, or that misuses our systems. If we do, we tell you why.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute. Please email us first: most problems are quicker to fix by talking.
